When I recognized that there is a mapping contest, I always had in mind, that I would like to invite all the mappers to "maplounge"
Here is the story.
When I began to play Sauerbraten online I soon recognized that there were editors. After I had made some maps on my own I wished to publish them, although I knew I could never mess up with the great works of some mappers I have seen on quadropolis. But Hankus (the owner of the nooblounge servers), whom I got to know on mumble, gave me the chance to publish maps, and not only my own maps on a server called maplounge, where we sometimes meet to play maps that are not in the justice release. There only are maps in rotation that are no content of the official release. When I took some maps I have downloaded from quadropolis to the package, I always tried to respect the licenses. If you find one of your maps there and you want me to get it out there please tell me: nothing@nooblounge.net
But if you want to join the idea and would like to participate, I would appreciate it and hope that you deliver the maps from contest to me, so I can put them in the package and maybe we can do additional maplounge servers with only one mode, cause at the time the rotation is on maps and mode.
